Enphase In-Roof Solar Installation

This house had some unique challenges due to the odd shading it received from some nearby trees. To combat this, we used Enphase IQ8MC microinverters. These allow each panel to be individually optimised for maximum performance in shaded conditions. Enphase also eliminates any single point of failure, and by having the inverters connected directly to each panel, eliminates any long DC runs of cable, keeping the safety to the maximum. This is all backed up by a 25 Year Guarantee.

The client also requested the solar panels blend into the property as much as possible. We have achieved this with the GSE In-Roof System. This mounting system replaces the tiles on the roof, meaning the panels fit flush into the roof. Not only does this look fantastic, it also eliminates any potential issues with birds nesting under the panels, or issues with wind pushing on the rail structure that panels are normally fitted to.

Finally we also installed two Enphase IQ5P Batteries, for a total of 10kWh of battery storage. With a large array like this, having a large battery storage system maximises your savings and minimises your dependence on the grid.
